Korean Chicken Stew
Korean Chicken Stew
1 kg Chicken (leg/thigh meat)
2 Potatoes (medium)
1 Onions (large)
1 Carrot (large)
3 Jalapeño peppers
3 cloves Garlic
4 spoons Sesame oil
3/4 cup Soy sauce
4 spoons White sugar
2 spoons Korean chili paste
2 spoons Korean chili powder
1/2 spoon Black pepper
OPTIONAL
6 Eggs
1/2 spoon Sesame seeds
Put Sesame oil in pot and cook Chicken until a little brown [medium high heat]
Add Garlic, Soy sauce, White sugar, Korean chili paste, Korean chili powder, and Black pepper
Stir 2 minutes, then add Potatoes, Onion, Carrot, and Jalapeño peppers
Mix well, cover pot with lid, and lower heat to medium low. Cook for 30 minutes (mix once after 15 minutes)
Add optional Eggs and sprinkle optional Sesame seeds at end
