Strawberry shortcake的做法
Whisk eggs and sugar
Ad the dry ingredient to sift well.
Combine milk and butter and heat (microwave or on oven) to just under a boil. Add vanilla extract.
(Optional) Take out about 2 cups of the cake batter into a separate mixing bowl, and with a hand whisk add the hot milk-butter to that. Whisk vigorously. Add the "liaison" back into the remaining batter in the mixer bowl.
Pour batter to a 9 or 8" pan
Bake in preheated oven at 350F for 35 min
For whipped cream, using the whisker to beat the heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, and lemon zest until soft peaks form.
